Moisturizing masks, exfoliants, tonics, creams and serums are some of the cosmetic products that we can make at home, quite easily and with few ingredients. Here we show you 6 of the best:

1- Sunflower seeds, yogurt and Honey Mask

If your usual cosmetic treatment left your skin sensitive, use this oatmeal and honey mask, which has soothing, softening, anti-inflammatory and antiseptic properties. The yogurt, lactic acid, acts as an exfoliant and the sunflower seeds with their oil provide hydration.

You should only to put a tablespoon of oats and a tablespoon of sunflower seeds in the blender. Mix well and add 2 tablespoons of unsweetened plain yogurt and a tablespoon of hot honey.

Apply to a clean face, rubbing it against your face and neck gently. Leave on for 3 - 5 minutes. Rinse with lukewarm water.

2- Sugar for shiny skin

Sugar scrub masks are fun and easy to do. You only need to mix a part of coconut or olive oil for two tablespoons of sugar.

You can add a few drops of your favorite essential oil to bring the experience to a greater level of placidity.

3- Green tea for reddened skin

A good alternative to combat redness on your skin is rose water with green tea. Green tea acts as an antioxidant and combines with the anti-inflammatory properties of rose water.

"When the skin turns red or gradually like eczema or psoriasis, there is underlying inflammation," experts say. This mixture acts as an adjunct to our natural system to mitigate the effects of free radical damage to cells.

To make your own soothing water, you need to steep two green tea bags in half a cup of boiling water and let the mixture steep for 15 minutes. Remove the bags and mix the liquid with half a cup of rose water. Transfer to a bottle that has a spray system. Refrigerate any leftover mixture in a sealed glass jar.

4- Milk for irritated skin

Milk compresses are very old, but they are really effective. All you need to do is soak a gauze or wipe with milk, squeeze it to remove the excess, and apply it to the affected area for at least 15 minutes. Rinse with lukewarm water.

5- Coconut oil as a moisturizer

Known are the myriad benefits of coconut oil. It is calming and anti-inflammatory. So its advantages on the skin are undeniable. It is ideal for skin prone to dryness, allergic skin and even eczema.

You just have to take a small portion and apply it directly to clean skin. Use it as a moisturizer before bed or anytime. It is also ideal for treating cracked hands and heels. After applying, cover your feet with socks and your hands with latex-free gloves.

6- Egg whites to clean the pores

Egg whites in combination with the benefits of yogurt and avocado, are a perfect combination to thoroughly cleanse the skin of your face and get rid of those detestable blackheads.

Lactic acid works by loosening the oil in your pores, while the power of the whites and their proteins, clean in depth, drying all signs of impurity. For its part, the avocado adds moisture, hydrating and fighting inflammation.

With the help of an electric mixer, beat an egg white. Once they are steamy, add a tablespoon of yogurt and half of a well-ground avocado. Combine with enveloping movements. You must apply it on your skin and leave it to act for ten minutes. Rinse after.
